Job Details
- Assist in achieving Group/Division client retention targets by delivering an excellent level of service.
- Liaise effectively with the Account Executive to ensure an appropriate strategy is in place for renewals and new business cases; attend client meetings where necessary and action meeting outcomes as required.
- Undertake market exercises to secure the most competitive terms available.
- Obtain and present renewal terms to clients.
- Support new business efforts when required.
- Issue renewal documentation in line with contract certainty requirements.
- Prioritise and manage all work promptly and accurately.
- Handle all queries, written or verbal, professionally and in line with service standards.
- Process mid-term adjustments according to procedures, including notifying insurers, issuing revised documentation, and collecting additional premiums.
- Actively cross-sell products and services from other Divisions
- Refer any queries that fall outside your experience, knowledge, or authority to senior colleagues.
- Collaborate with and support other branches and Group Resources as required.
- Solid understanding of Commercial Insurance.
- Awareness of the CII Code of Ethics and GDPR compliance.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Efficient processing and time management skills.
- Strong prioritisation and deadline management.
- Excellent client service and relationship-building skills.
- Competent negotiation and broking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to extract and interpret client information effectively.
- Sensitivity to different levels of client understanding.
- Persuasive and influential communication skills.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Math and English.
- Certificate in Insurance (desirable).
